I wrote a separate post about why I’m doing this challenge, the specific French skills I want to work on, and how this fits into my current language goals. If you’re curious, you can read it here:
Textbook: Grammaire en dialogue A1
I studied for exactly 4 hours and 25 minutes, broken into 14 short sessions, and completed Chapter 7-15 dictation, verb conjugation practice via Quizlet, and Chapter 16-17.
This has been, by far, the longest study session I’ve had since I started learning French.
I guess spending Valentine’s Day alone at home — immersed in language learning — isn’t such a bad idea after all.
Today felt like a turning point. I managed to catch up on the slower days earlier this week by finishing the first round of dictation practice I set as a goal. Not only that, I officially resumed working on new chapters in the textbook, and even completed two chapters in one day.
Day 14 was intense and focused, such a very productive way to spend Valentine’s Day alone.
